Marilyn (White) St. Jean, 88, of Vernon, CT, beloved wife of the late Edward St. Jean, her husband of 50 years, died Monday, May 15, 2017 at her home, with her family by her side. Marilyn, daughter of the late William and Catherine White, was born in Manchester, NH on April 2, 1929. She lived there until 1971, when she moved to Vernon, CT. After the death of her husband, she resided in Quail Hollow, where she enjoyed lady luncheons, coffee hours and other social engagements with all her kind friends. She spent her winters in Punta Gorda, FL, enjoying warm sunshine and long walks. She was an active member of the Eagle Point Social Club. Marilyn read avidly and enjoyed her IPad in recent years. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the continental US and Alaska and visited Singapore, Japan and Malaysia, as well as countries in Europe. She especially enjoyed the family Christmas weekends which she hosted each year. Marilyn was beloved and will be missed by her four children and their spouses: David and his wife Kathy of Goffstown, NH; Bob and his wife Jill of York, ME; Bill and his wife Kathy of Venice, FL; and her daughter Cathy DiCiancia and her husband Mark of South Windsor, CT. She will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and their partners: Katie Loi and her husband Ben, Dan St. Jean, Mike St. Jean and Nicole Hall, Dr. Kimberly Kwak and her husband John, Kristina Massino and her husband Patrick, Greg DiCiancia, and Alyson DiCiancia. Marilyn had a special place in her heart for her great-grandchildren: Maggie, Ryan, and Joseph Loi; Gianna Massino; and Alexandra Kwak. The family invites relatives and friends to join them for calling hours on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 2 – 4 p.m. followed by a funeral service beginning at 4 p.m. at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon, CT. A burial service celebrating Marilyn's life will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald Street, Bedford, NH.
