Condolence & Memory Journal

I first met Richie in 1973 at the MDC. I was assigned to his crew. He was good friends with my cousin Fred DiNardi. Richie took me under his wing and showed me how to do the job on the road crews. He was a good person and treated everybody the same. Always joking and laughing.

Rest in Peace Richie!

Joann, I'm so sorry for your loss. The little time I spent with Richard at the Hospital was enough to know his personality. He was kind funny and loved his Friendly's shakes and ice cream. We were all sad and devastated about Richard. May God bless you and keep you strong.... Love Yashara (PCA)

The Avalon Kids are so going to miss Rich. He was so kind and always brought a ray of sunshine and his mandatory fist bumps for every child that crossed his path.

We are so sorry for your loss.

We were lucky enough to have Mr. Rich as our crossing guard on Avalon. Each one of my five kids would give him a fist bump as they crossed the street, even the little guys still in the stroller. They still talk about the Hershey bars treats they got for Halloween and the candy cane Christmases. Our thoughts are with his family... he will truly be missed by many.

Jo-Ann - My heart aches for your sadness. May you find some measure of comfort in knowing you made Rich's life complete. The road will be long, but your memories will ease the way. God Bless.

So sorry about Richard, I know how much you loved each other. I have such good memories of our times away each year in Newport, Maine, and all the trips we took and all the laughs we had. His contagious smile. My heart breaks for you Jo-Ann but your memories will keep you warm and strong.
