I'm saddened to learn of John's death and offer my condolences. He was a valuable member of the team that transformed the Newington Highway Department into a top-flight operation -- one of Connecticut's best.
He is fondly remembered, too, for his friendly and upbeat demeanor. It was a privilege to work with him.
