Every time I think of Elliot a smile appears on my face. He was a wonderful person that spread sunshine wherever he went. Besides all the baseball games he umpired that I was at my favorite memory was at Misquamicut beach. I was there with other Granby Moms and who goes walking by - Elliott. He was lost. He couldn't find Nancy and the blanket. We helped him look for her. He made us promise not to tell Nancy that we helped him. So Elliott your secret was protected til now. Sorry. You will be missed.

Nancy,Jonathan & Emily,
Deepest sympathy to you and your family.
One of my fondest memories was having Ellott come to the office and making us all laugh and entertained us.
He was so kind he wanted to weed and care for our neglected
Flower garden outside the main office.
Many times it was a surprise to us that he was working diligently to improve the outside appearance of our school.
Nancy and family, I send my love and prayers your way.

Elliott was someone you were always happy to see. He would greet you with that smile of his, and you knew a funny story would soon follow. Once, no make that twice, Elliott drove away from our business with the gas hose still attached to his fuel tank, clanking all the way down Rt 10 to his house. When calling the house Nancy answered the phone by asking, "what did Elliott do now?" Upon hearing that Elliott drove off with the gas hose again, Nancy burst into laughter. I've wondered If Elliott did these things on purpose....
Elliott was always happiest when he was surrounded by those who were happy, and it was hard to not be happy when he was with you.
Thanks for all the veggies you would leave at our door(even if they may have sometimes been borrowed from someone else's garden).
Pat Royce and Homer for us. You never stopped missing them, and we know you are smiling in heaven with them by your side.
We love you Elliott and will miss you greatly.

Shyer Family - so sorry for your loss. Elliott displayed such a strong will to live and gave a heroic effort in his fight. He was very courageous and was very lucky to have such a strong and dedicated wife, Nancy, by his side during this difficult time. He will be missed.
