Ron was a very nice neighbor. He was the first to welcome us to the neighborhood especially with his neighborly acts like snow blowing our driveway when we don't get to it early. He would especially deliver treats to my kids on Halloween. Every Wednesday he pulls our trash cans to the curb and puts them back when emptied. My family will miss such a man who taught us not to remain strangers, but to reach out and be real neighbors to everyone.

Dr. Ronald Bell was a kind, generous man teaching in the Hartford Public Schools for many years and in his retirement becoming a master chef. He will be missed by the many whose lives he touched with his wit, intelligence and sense of humor. Condolences to his children, his extended family and his sisters, Rhonda and Robin.
