Condolence & Memory Journal

I am so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. We were close friends from the time we met at Brien McMahon High School in 1967. We shared a passion for the Mets,Knicks and Jets. Bill was always one of the nicest guys around with a sharp understated sense of humor. Bill, rest in peace. Norm

I worked with Bill for many years at American Frozen Foods. He was kind, honest and a man of great courage. He will be sadly missed.

I remember the first time I met Bill in September, 1978. He was and remains one of the kindest people I've ever known.

Dear Billy,
The photo of us together on our First Holy Communion Day graces my childhood album. I remember your parents as being among the very nicest in the neighborhood in those days. My sincere sympathies to Kevin and all of your family. You are in my prayers, Billy; may you rest in peace.

To the Corey's and extended family,
One of the true blessings of being a friend of the Maker and Corey families has been knowing and loving Bill. He has been an inspiration to many of us for lots of years, and in many ways. I'll miss him but I have hope his kindness and gentle spirit will be carried on by the younger generations.

I had the pleasure of being Bill's secretary back in the 1970's, but not long enough. He was a really nice, pleasant, soft-spoken man to work for. My sympathies go out to his family. Diane (Clark) Saltarelli Meng

Dear Billy
We grew up together and were the dynamic duo of Fillow Street and we ruled it! We rode our bikes as far as the sun would take us. God bless your family, they are fortunate to have you alive in their memories, to hear your voice and your laugh, peace to you old friend.

Bill was a very decent & honest man, a compassionate lawyer, and a remarkable mentor to me for the time we worked together in Norwalk. While I am sad he's gone, I am very grateful to have known him. We should celebrate a life well lived.

One of the most decent, honest and fairest men I have ever known. The Braveness and toughness he fought with against his dreaded illness was remarkable. A true gentleman who also had a gift for humor. Our prayers to your entire Family. Brother Corey, your never quit mantra inspired me deeply in battling my illness. To that I applaud you. I'll be meeting you on the other side very shortly and we'll hoist a few over our better days. Love Kevin and Judy O'Toole and family.
