Hannah A. McIntosh, 99, of Hartford passed away peacefully at Hartford Hospital on Monday, November 6, 2017. She was born in Montego Bay , Jamaica and migrated to the Hartford area in 1966. Hannah retired from Hartford Hospital where she worked in food and nutrition and she was a long time member of North United Methodist Church where she received “Member of Year” of the award twice, and also a member of the United Methodist Women Group. Hannah loved to sew and enjoyed gardening, but the true joy of her life was being with family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memories are her two loving daughters; Monica Chambers of Jamaica and Joan McNish of Hartford, Five grandchildren; Aubrey McCalla, Jean-Ann Martin, Don-Garvin Chambers, LaRue McNish- Smith and Claudius McNish; Eight great grandchildren; Tracy-Ann McCalla, Anya Smickle, Don-Marc Chambers, Claudius McNish Jr. ,Valentino West, Malcomb Chambers, Lauren Smith, Joseph Smith Jr.; one special nephew Michael Campbell and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Claudia Muir ,sister; Themutis Campbell and nephew Everal Henry.
